Return & Cancellation Policy

We want you to love your signed book! Because our items are hand-signed by the author, specific rules apply to returns and cancellations under EU consumer law. 

1. Your Right to Cancel (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)

You have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 calendar days without giving any reason. 

The 14-day window begins the day after your book is delivered. Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays are included.

In accordance with EU law, you can instantly exercise your right by clicking the digital Withdrawal button located on our storefront.

2. Discontinuation of Custom Name Dedications

Our pre-signed or standard-signed books by the author are fully eligible for return using the digital withdrawal button.

Due to the 2026 digital withdrawal mandate, which legally requires automated, single-click return flows for online shoppers, we no longer offer custom name dedications, personalised messages, or bespoke inscriptions on our books. All available inventory consists of pre-signed copies only. 

3. Return Shipping Costs & Methods

If you choose to return your book, you are responsible for the return shipping costs. We do not provide pre-paid return shipping labels or portals. You must arrange and pay for your own return postage.

We highly recommend using a tracked shipping service with insurance. We cannot issue a refund for books that are lost, misdelivered, or damaged during the return transit.

4. Condition of the Book

To receive a full refund, the book must be returned in its original, pristine condition. 

You may carefully inspect the book just as you would in a physical bookstore. 

We cannot accept returns for books that show signs of reading, creased spines, bent pages, or thumb marks. 

5. Promotional Items & Merchandise (Gifts with Purchase)

If your book purchase included complementary merchandise, promotional items, or a "gift with purchase," these items must be returned alongside the book. 

If you choose to keep the promotional merchandise, or if it is returned in a damaged condition, a fixed retail value of €4 will be deducted from your final refund.

6. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned book, we will issue a refund within 14 days. If everything is in its original condition your refund will include the full original purchase price plus our standard outbound shipping cost.
